Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) is a psychotherapeutic approach that utilises movement and dance to foster emotional, cognitive, social and physical integration. Through guided movement explorations, individuals can express and process their thoughts, feelings and experiences. DMT sessions may involve improvisation, choreographed movement sequences, and body awareness exercises.
